Xiaomi’s Mi Band 5 Photos, Specifications Leaked online - Xiaomi-backed Huami revealed that the Mi Band 5 will be available later this year, and it is being developed jointly by Xiaomi and Huami. Recently after the announcement, the alleged real-life images of the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 have surfaced online.
These Xiaomi Mi Band 5 images reveal a brand-new oval punch-hole display. There is a big confusion about the hole as it is not visible clearly. It is rumored that the punch-hole is expected to be a placement for a camera or few people argued that it is captive touch button.
Mi band 5 will be having better contrast to ensure improved usability under direct sunlight. The report also clarified that the upcoming version will feature a full-color AMOLED panel. It is also rumored to add NFC to all variants of Band 5 and will support contactless payments. NFC would enable Mi Band 5 to support payment through Google Pay, MI Pay etc.
In addition, the report also indicated that the device will come with a 1.2-inch screen. This is a notable improvement from the 0.95-inch display on the current generation. Xiaomi is expected to launch the upcoming version after the end of COVID, probably by July 2020.
